Best Of Show 2007

Our Best Of Show winner for 2007 was made by Jamie Grant.The 196 reverse appliquéd blocks were designed by Judy Garden and were found in her book, Dutch Treat. Jamie decided to complete the quilt as challenge for herself and chose to use black and white instead of the tradional blue and white. It took a year and half to complete the appliqué.

Our Raffle Quilt 2007

Thanks to Spotlight Photo in Hamilton for photographing our raffle quilt.

Vicki Waldo of Darby was the winner of the raffle quilt.

The 2007 Bitterroot Quilters' Guild quilt show theme of "Summer Nights, Northern Lights" is spectacularly reflected in our raffle quilt's design. Judith Parkins designed the quilt using Annette Ornelas' Southwind Designs pattern "Mexican Stars" as inspiration. The quilt is a bright, stunning quilt measuring 120" square. It was picked to grace the front cover of a national quilters directory "WRBQ".
